The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, hosted today, Wednesday, the presidencies’ meeting, which included the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, and the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, to discuss judicial and legal procedures for a number of important issues in country.
The meeting reviewed, according to a statement by the media office of the Prime Minister, the legal aspects of the results of the security talks between Iraq and the United States, on the future of the presence of the international coalition and bilateral security cooperation in accordance with the constitutional and legal frameworks.
The progress of implementing the government program was also discussed, the progress made in the path of sustainable development, the development of infrastructure and services, and the upgrading of the level of services provided to citizens by the executive agencies.
