The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, continued his meetings and visits to security institutions in the Islamic Republic of Iran, which he is visiting at an official invitation.
The ministry stated in a statement: ‘The minister visited the headquarters of the cyber police and met with its officials, and discussed with them the mechanism for enhancing joint cooperation in a way that serves the interests of the two neighboring countries.’
The Minister also met with the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces and discussed with him many topics related to work and exchanging experiences in various security fields.
The visit discussed strengthening coordination in the field of training and its methods, especially in the field of cybersecurity, and the development taking place in this aspect.
