Today, Saturday, the Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi, chaired an expanded meeting to discuss legal and administrative issues, while directing that integrity issues be quickly resolved in accordance with the government program.
The Ministry of Health said, in a statement, ‘Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, chaired an expanded meeting at the ministry’s headquarters in the presence of the technical and administrative undersecretaries of the ministry, the general directors of the ministry’s center departments, the health departments in Baghdad and the governorates, and officials of the legal departments.’
The statement added, “The meeting discussed legal and administrative issues and communication between the ministry’s center and health departments regarding dealing with legal texts, implementing laws, and speeding up executive procedures.”
During the meeting, the Minister of Health stressed the importance of quickly resolving integrity issues in accordance with the government program to combat
corruption and communicating with the legal department at the Ministry’s center regarding legal issues.
The Minister pointed out, “The importance of accuracy, speed, and clarification of legal texts in all investigative committees, and periodically following up on legal cases in the competent courts.”
He stressed “the importance of following up with the competent authorities on legal issues related to the ownership of lands belonging to the Ministry of Health or allocated to the Ministry, in addition to inclusion issues.”
Al-Hasnawi directed, ‘holding training and discussion workshops for the legal issues in the health departments at the Ministry’s headquarters with the aim of developing work and reviewing the necessary instructions, laws and legislation, adapting them and dealing with them in the investigative committees.’
