The Israeli army releases 50 prisoners in Gaza, and the government media office confirms: The occupation wants to improve its image

The Israeli army released 50 Palestinian prisoners from East Qarara in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Video scenes showed a number of prisoners in poor health and physical condition following their release this morning after months of detention in Israeli prisons.

The government media office in Gaza said, ‘The file of detainees held by the occupation represents an example of the crime practiced by the occupation,’ noting that ‘the occupation wants to improve its image internationally after the release of the director of Al-Shifa Hospital, but it cannot prove its claims against the health system in the Gaza Strip.’

It is noteworthy that the director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Dr. Muhammad Abu Salamiya, has been detained since last November.
