The experimental population census process was launched in Diyala Governorate.
Director of Diyala Census, Ammar Ahmed Majeed, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency /NINA: ‘The experimental population census process was launched in Buhriz district, south of Baqubah, which includes /5/ areas, with the participation of field teams from the governorate’s Statistics Directorate.’
He added: ‘The population census process aims to know the demographic details of the population for development purposes, and includes procedures for inventorying and numbering streets and buildings, then counting the population.
