The Emirates Journalists Association participates in the celebrations of the 155th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi press

The Emirates Journalists Association, represented by Mrs. Fadela Al-Muaini, Head of the Association, and a number of members of the Association’s Board of Directors, is participating in the celebrations of the 155th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi press, which will begin next Friday in the largest celebratory carnival Iraq has ever witnessed, with the participation of media, press, and cultural delegations from 50 countries. Al-Muaini will also attend the meetings of the Arab Journalists Union, which will be held in Baghdad during this period, headed by Moayad Al-Lami, Head of the Union and Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate.

According to the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, the celebration of the National Day of the Iraqi Press this year will be the largest and most extensive in the history of the union since its founding in 1959, stressing the importance of showing the bright image of Iraq and the major reconstruction campaign that the country is witnessing in front of
the Arab and foreign media delegations that will participate in the press family’s celebrations this year.
