The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Al-Sudani, directed today, Saturday, to form an investigative committee related to the events of Kirkuk.
The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahia Rasool, said in a statement, "The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad al-Sudani, directs to form an investigative committee to find out the circumstances of the death of a citizen and the fall of a number of wounded due to the events that took place today, Saturday, in Kirkuk Governorate."
Al-Sudani also stressed, according to the statement, that the negligent people who are found guilty of these events should be held accountable and brought to justice so that they receive their just punishment.
