River police detachments in the holy Karbala governorate found the body of a young man who drowned a week ago.
A security source said: ‘The river police detachments in al-Hindiyah district found the body a week after the drowning case was reported, as it was washed away by water across Shatt al-Hindiyah and was found in al-Husseiniyah River.’
He added: ‘The body was handed over to the forensic medicine office in Imam Hussein Medical City.
