The Anti-Terrorism Service carries out extensive inspection operations in Nineveh

The Anti-Terrorism Service carried out extensive operations to clear and search multiple areas in Nineveh Governorate.

The Security Media Cell stated in a statement, “Based on the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, and the supervision of the head of the Anti-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Abdel-Wahab Al-Saadi, the heroes of the Anti-Terrorism Service conducted reconnaissance, clearing, and searching terrorist hideouts and set up ambushes in large areas that included Nineveh Governorate.” Makhmour district, Al-Kashshaf village, in addition to Al-Dur district, Umm Talil village, and Aitha Al-Shawk area, led to the detonation of many explosive devices and dens in which ISIS rats were hiding.”

It added, “The pre-emptive operations carried out by the heroes of the Anti-Terrorism Service according to accurate intelligence information have a clear and significant impact in limiting any operation that the remnants of terrorist gangs may consider carrying out in our beloved country.”
