Tenders Board Sec Gen Highlights Bahraini Women’s Day Contributions

Manama: Jamal Abdulaziz Al Alawi, Secretary General of Bahrain Tender Board, emphasized that Bahraini Women's Day serves as an opportunity to recognize women's contributions to national development. This occasion is celebrated under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Alawi commended Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women. He lauded her efforts in effectively translating the Council's plans into tangible outcomes, thereby enhancing women's roles across all sectors in the country.

Al Alawi highlighted that Bahraini women have become a national model of competence and dedication, actively contributing to institutional performance in both the public and private sectors. He reiterated the Board's commitment to supporting women by fostering a conducive work environment, providing equal opportunities, and enabling them to take on leadership and decision-making roles.

He further mentioned that women make up 45% of the Board's workforce, forming a significant part of the national development team. In recognition of their efforts and pivotal role in advancing Bahrain's progress, female staff were honored for their contributions.
