Tender Board Introduces 16 New Training Courses for Government Entities and Suppliers

Manama: The Tender Board has launched 16 awareness workshops and training courses for the second half of 2025, offered in Arabic and English. The programmes target government entities subject to the Government Tender and Procurement Law, as well as suppliers and contractors.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the series of sessions, held remotely, is designed to enhance procurement efficiency, improve compliance, and support institutional performance. Jamal Abdulaziz Al Alawi, Secretary General of the Tender Board, emphasized that the initiative aims to support legal awareness, strengthen digital capabilities, and promote transparency and fairness in procurement practices.

The training sessions will cover a variety of topics, including suppliers' rights and responsibilities, preparation of tender documents, evaluation committee training, and the use of the e-Tendering system. These courses are expected to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge to navigate the intricacies of governmental procurement processes effectively.
