Tatarstan Head Meets with Oil Minister at Kazan Forum

Kazan: His Excellency Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, recently hosted Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, during the International Petrochemical Exhibition Kazan Oil, Gas, and Chemistry held in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting took place as part of the forum's agenda, which focuses on advancements in the petrochemical sector.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Bin Dainah conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to HE Minnikhanov. The greetings included wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Republic of Tatarstan and its people. The minister also expressed gratitude for the invitation to the exhibition and the warm reception he received, as well as hopes for the forum's success in achieving its objectives.

In response, HE Minnikhanov sent his regards to His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Minnikhanov highlighted the strong relations between the two regions and stressed the importance of exchanging expertise and experiences in energy and modern technologies. He emphasized the need for strengthened regional and international cooperation due to the rapid developments in the energy sector.

The discussions between the two leaders covered bilateral relations and efforts to enhance joint cooperation in oil, gas, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability. They recognized the significance of collaborative efforts in areas of mutual interest to promote energy security, sustainability, and climate protection.
