Manama: The Labour Fund "Tamkeen" has announced its support for the employment and career development of 50 Bahraini employees at Havelock One Interiors through its various employment support and career development programs.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this support aligns with Tamkeen's strategic priorities for 2025, which focus on enhancing the position and competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector. The initiative aims to equip Bahrainis with suitable skills for career development in the private sector and prioritizes enterprise growth, digitization, sustainability, and the development of the ecosystem surrounding the labor market and private sector.
Khalid Al Bayat, Chief Growth Officer at Tamkeen, highlighted their ongoing support for Bahraini companies such as Havelock One since 2018. This support has facilitated the company's growth and enhanced operational efficiency, creating new employment and career opportunities for Bahrainis. He emphasized Tamkeen's commitment to empowering local talent, supporting private sector growth, and ensuring Bahrainis remain the preferred choice in the labor market.
Firas Al Ayed, Group Operations Director at Havelock One, noted that Tamkeen's ongoing support since 2018 has been instrumental in expanding operations and entering new markets. He stated that this growth has enabled the company to increase local recruitment and establish clear career paths for Bahrainis to progress into leadership roles. He expressed pride in the number of Bahraini employees now holding leadership positions across departments, highlighting the partnership's success in developing national talent for future growth and development.
Established in 1998, Havelock One has grown to become one of the largest manufacturers in the GCC. The company operates across five countries-Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar-through seven offices, with a workforce of over 1,900 employees across the GCC.
