Tamkeen Bolsters Employment and Wage Support for Bahrainis at Ibn Al Nafees Hospital

Manama: The Labour Fund "Tamkeen" has announced its support for Ibn Al Nafees Hospital by facilitating wage increments for 55 employees and enabling the employment of 34 Bahrainis across multiple fields and specializations. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance employment and career development opportunities for Bahraini talent in the private sector.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this initiative aligns with Tamkeen's strategic priorities for 2025, which focus on enhancing the position and competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector. The strategy emphasizes equipping Bahrainis with suitable skills for career development and prioritizes enterprise growth, digitization, sustainability, and the development of the ecosystem surrounding the labor market and private sector.

Khalid Al Bayat, Tamkeen's Chief Growth Officer, stated that the support for employing and promoting Bahraini employees at Ibn Al Nafees Hospital reflects Tamkeen's objectives to enhance employment opportunities and career development for Bahrainis in the private sector across all industries. He noted that the healthcare sector offers substantial opportunities for qualified Bahraini personnel, and the support provided contributes to increasing their presence in this vital sector.

Mohammed Al Aali, Director of Human Resources and Training at Ibn Al Nafees Hospital, expressed the hospital's commitment to increasing Bahrainisation levels within its workforce. He emphasized the high quality of local talents and their ability to perform diverse roles proficiently. Al Aali highlighted the significant impact of Tamkeen's support on recruiting and promoting local talent, ultimately improving the quality of services the hospital provides to its patients.

Ibn Al Nafees Hospital, established in 2001, is one of Bahrain's leading healthcare providers, with specialized clinics covering more than 28 medical specialties, including Emergency Services, laboratories, and Radiology. Tamkeen has launched a range of programs aimed at supporting the employment and career development of national talent, with the goal of making Bahrainis the preferred choice for employment and positioning the private sector as the engine of economic growth in the Kingdom.
