Manama: The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Takamol Holdings, a notable business services entity focused on the labour market and human capital development in Saudi Arabia. This agreement marks a significant step towards fostering collaboration in various labour market-related fields and facilitating knowledge exchange aimed at enhancing market efficiency, supporting professional skill development, and improving overall performance.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the MoU intends to leverage Takamol's extensive expertise to enhance programme effectiveness and boost national talent competitiveness in alignment with labour market demands. Additionally, the partnership will allow Tamkeen to gain insights into Saudi Arabia's labour market development, while Takamol will benefit from Tamkeen's experience in creating opportunities for national talent to enter and thrive in the labour market.
The agreement was formalized by Her Excellency Ms. Maha Abdulhameed Mofeez, Chief Executive of the Labour Fund Tamkeen, and His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Abduljabar Al Yamani, Chief Executive Officer of Takamol, in a ceremony attended by officials from both organizations. This event underscores their commitment to enhancing cooperation and knowledge exchange.
Maha Abdulhameed Mofeez emphasized that the partnership is a significant milestone in the enduring Saudi-Bahraini partnership, facilitating knowledge sharing and expertise exchange in program and service development. She noted that this collaboration supports ongoing efforts within the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council.
Dr. Ahmed Abduljabar Al Yamani highlighted the strong ties between the two kingdoms, expressing that the partnership will bolster collaboration and knowledge exchange to design innovative solutions backed by best practices, thus enhancing labour market efficiency and effectiveness.
