Dushanbe: His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, received Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, in Dushanbe. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the Fourth High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action 'Water for Sustainable Development'.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to HE President Rahmon. They expressed their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Republic of Tajikistan and its people.
HE President Rahmon reciprocated with greetings to HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, along with wishes for the Kingdom of Bahrain's continued progress and prosperity.
The minister emphasized the strong ties and cooperation between Bahrain and Tajikistan, highlighting the ongoing growth in bilateral relations across various sectors. He also marked the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries as a significant milestone, reflecting deep ties and advanced cooperation achieved through mutual respect and a shared commitment to partnership and coordination.
Additionally, the minister congratulated HE President Rahmon on the successful organization of the conference and its positive outcomes, which are expected to support regional and international cooperation in areas of common interest.
