Damascus: Dr. Mazhar Abdul Rahman Al Wais, Minister of Justice of the Syrian Arab Republic, recently held a meeting with Waheed Mubarak Sayyar, Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Syria. The meeting focused on enhancing judicial cooperation between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions emphasized the significance of building on Bahrain's experience in legislative and judicial development. Dr. Al Wais highlighted the need to activate existing agreements and promote the exchange of expertise to support mutual interests.
Ambassador Sayyar took the opportunity to congratulate Dr. Al Wais on his new role in the Syrian transitional government, expressing his best wishes for success. He reiterated the importance of advancing bilateral relations and fostering cooperation to achieve shared objectives.
The meeting further reviewed the strong ties between Bahrain and Syria, exploring opportunities to expand collaboration in the judicial sector and address issues of mutual concern.
