Sustainable Development Minister Engages with Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme Members

Manama: Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), recently met with members of the 10th intake of the Prime Minister's Fellowship Programme. Alkhulaif discussed the programme's outcomes and its significance in nurturing Bahraini leaders capable of enhancing government operations, shaping policies, and making future decisions.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Alkhulaif emphasized the programme as an important initiative for investing in human capital. She stated that it attracts and develops national talents by equipping them with necessary knowledge, skills, and leadership capabilities. This initiative, she noted, aligns with the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, aiming to cultivate competent Bahraini professionals who can effectively contribute to national projects and improve Bahrain's competitiveness across various sectors, supporting the achievement of development objectives.

The Sustainable Development Minister reviewed Bahrain's significant progress in sustainable development, noting sustainability as a core pillar of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. This vision provides a framework for a diversified, competitive, and sustainable economy, and ensures that national policies and the government programme (2023-2026) align with sustainable development goals.

She highlighted Bahrain's steady progress towards these goals through the adoption of flexible, integrated policies, the strengthening of public-private sector partnerships, and investment in human capital to drive sustainable development.

Members of the tenth intake expressed their gratitude to the Sustainable Development Minister for her support and commitment to nurturing national talents. They affirmed their dedication to working alongside Team Bahrain to contribute to the comprehensive developmental process.
