Manama: The Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs has announced the opening of applications for Hajj campaign permits for the 1448 AH/2027 Hajj season. Licensed Hajj campaign operators can begin submitting their applications from July 12 until August 2, 2026.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee has emphasized that applications must be processed through the official Hajj portal at haj.gov.bh. This aligns with the schedule set by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Hajj campaigns are required to adhere to regulatory requirements, which include accommodating a pilgrim count ranging from 90 to 800.
The committee has indicated that applications will undergo a thorough assessment to verify that all conditions and supporting documents are complete before approval of permits. Campaign operators have been advised to refrain from advertising Hajj packages or prices prior to receiving official authorization.
Furthermore, the committee mandates that each campaign must operate from premises licensed and approved by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf. They have also urged the public to register exclusively through the official Hajj website, cautioning against the use of unofficial registration links.
