Manama: Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futtais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Waqf Council, received Reverend Hani Aziz, Pastor of the National Evangelical Church of Bahrain. Dr. Shaikh Al Hajri emphasized Bahrain's enduring dedication to fostering tolerance and coexistence. He noted the nation's overall enhancement of these values under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the continued efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to bolster and support this focus.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Reverend Aziz praised the exceptional efforts of Dr. Shaikh Al Hajri in fostering communication with all segments of society. He acknowledged the initiatives to promote values of tolerance and coexistence while advancing moderation and balance in religious discourse.
