Muharraq: Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futtais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a mosque construction project in the Al Saya area of Muharraq Governorate, as part of the Council's plan to develop houses of worship across all governorates of the Kingdom.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Dr. Al Hajri affirmed that the council continues its efforts to develop houses of worship in accordance with Bahraini architectural style, reflecting the Council's commitment to its mission in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and following the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to preserve, maintain, and prepare mosques for worshippers.
