Sunni Endowments Council Chairman Engages with Bahraini Mosque Preachers.

Manama: Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, met with mosque Khutba'a (preachers) from across Bahrain to discuss contributions towards fostering religious and intellectual awareness in society. The meeting underscored the mosque's role in promoting Islamic teachings and the Prophet's biography, advocating values that enhance the mosque's mission and impact within the community. According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Hajri highlighted the importance of Khutba'a in promoting moderate religious concepts and strengthening awareness of Islamic values. He commended their ongoing efforts in disseminating Islamic knowledge. On their part, the Khutba'a expressed appreciation for the chairman's support for places of worship and religious personnel, particularly through training and development initiatives for Khutba'a, Imams, and religious figures, aimed at enhancing community service and religious education. They noted that such initiatives elevate the mosqu e's role as an educational institution, advancing Islamic values and principles across society.
