Sunni Endowments Chairman Participates in International Conference on Islamic Studies in Abu Dhabi

Manama: Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, participated in the Third International Conference on Islamic Studies, held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to Bahrain News Agency, the conference focused on citizenship, identity, and shared values of coexistence, bringing together a distinguished group of academics and researchers from various countries. The participants addressed key issues and explored strategies for fostering inclusive and cohesive societies.

In his address, Dr. Al Hajri emphasized that citizenship is a comprehensive concept based on the notion that the nation is one family, involving full participation and shared interests that contribute to protecting the nation and preserving its achievements and history. He added that the goal of citizenship is to live in security, with loyalty and belonging as its foundation.
