Manama: Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futtais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Endowments Council, received Dr. Hassan Ibrahim Kamal, Secretary-General of the Bahrain Philanthropic Society.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed the association's efforts in implementing humanitarian and charitable programmes and projects. It also discussed means to enhance cooperation, contributing to greater alignment between official entities and charitable organisations and supporting community development.
Shaikh Dr. Al Hajri commended the association's significant community role in supporting families and implementing humanitarian initiatives. He highlighted the importance of continuing to strengthen integration with civil society organisations that support charitable and voluntary work to serve the community and reinforce the values of solidarity and compassion.
For his part, Dr. Kamal affirmed the association's commitment to continuing cooperation to serve the public interest and promoting the values of solidarity and compassion within the community.
