Manama: Ahmed Khalil Khairi, Director General of Sunni Endowments, received a delegation from Kuwait Zakat House, led by Adel Al-Jari, Deputy Director General of Kuwait Zakat House. The delegation included Abdulrahman Al Turkit, Acting Manager for Foreign Activities, and Mohammed Hussein Al Filkawi from the External Activities Department. This meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise in endowment and zakat-related domains.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and coordination in implementing charitable and humanitarian projects. The parties also emphasized strengthening partnerships to support endowment programmes and serve houses of worship.
The two sides highlighted the importance of consolidating ties to achieve shared goals, support charitable and humanitarian work, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
