A series of significant events are scheduled to take place across Lebanon in observance of Eid al-Adha.
6:11 am Sheikh Amin Al-Kurdi, the Secretary of Fatwa in the Republic of Lebanon, will perform the Eid al-Adha prayer and deliver the sermons at the Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque in downtown Beirut. This event is held under the commission of the Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian.
6:11 am Sheikh Salim Anis Sawsan, the Mufti of Sidon and its districts, will lead the Eid al-Adha prayer at the Al-Hajj Bahaa El-Din Hariri Mosque in Sidon. Following the prayer, he will proceed to Martyrs’ Square in the city to recite Al-Fatiha in honor of the martyrs of Lebanon and Palestine. Due to current circumstances, he has announced he will not be receiving well-wishers for the holiday.
6:00 pm The Imam Sadiq Association for Reviving the Heritage of the Scholars of Jabal Amel, in cooperation with the Maaysra Municipality, will honor Sheikh Dr. Youssef Amro. The ceremony will be held at the Imam
Ali Cultural Center in the town of Maaysra, Ftouh Keserwan.
These events highlight the spiritual and communal activities marking the festive occasion of Eid al-Adha, amidst the ongoing challenges faced by the nation.
