Armed clashes in Sudan have forced nearly four million people to flee their homes, according to the International Organisation for Migration (IOM). According to Euronews, the latest displacement tracking matrix data of IOM showed that the clashes between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces made more than 926,000 seek refuge in neighbouring countries while displacing 3.02 million. According to IOM's statistics on the humanitarian situation in Sudan, individuals were forced to leave all 18 states of Sudan, while the highest percentage of displaced persons is concentrated in the Nile River states, with 15 per cent, the northern states with 11 per cent, North Darfur with 9 per cent and the White Nile with 9 per cent.
