Strong Northwesterly Winds Forecast to Impact Bahrain for One Week

Manama: The Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has predicted hot daytime conditions and typical summer weather for Bahrain. Light and variable winds are expected over the next two days before transitioning to moderate during the day.

According to Bahrain News Agency, strong northwesterly winds are anticipated to develop starting Tuesday, June 17, 2025. These winds may occasionally intensify, resulting in rising sand in open areas and increased wave heights. The windy conditions are expected to persist for about a week.

The continuous northwesterly winds are also predicted to lower humidity levels, potentially providing some relief from the heat at certain times.

The Meteorological Directorate advises the public, particularly those visiting the sea, to exercise caution and stay updated with the latest forecasts and warnings through its official channels.
