Kuwait city: The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) hosted the second round of the Future Stars Series, sponsored by Singapore Gulf Bank. The event, which is part of the 26th race of the 2025/2026 season, focused on Bahrain-bred horses.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the race featured the Late Abdulla Ahmed Nass Cup, sponsored by Nass Corporation and A.A. Nass and Sons, alongside cups for the Applied Science University (ASU), REHC, and Al Wasmiya. The event took place at the club's racecourse in Al Raffah, Sakhir.
Recognition was given to several winners during the event. Yusuf Osama Buheji, Member of the High Committee of REHC and Acting Chief Executive Officer, awarded the first round trophy to trainer Adel Abdullah. Additionally, His Highness Shaikh Sultan Al Deen bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa was presented with the third round trophy by Shaikh Hasan bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief Regulatory Officer at REHC. Ebrahim Faisal Al Malki, Director of Media and Communications at REHC, presented the fourth round trophy to trainer Haider Ebrahim.
The fifth round trophy was given to owner Abdullah Sami Nass by Mohammed Ahmed Al Nema, Director of the Jockey Foundation. Prof. Waheeb Al Khaja, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of ASU, awarded the sixth round trophy to trainer Paul Smith. Fawzi Nass presented the seventh round trophy to Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
The evening saw strong competition across ten races, highlighting the skill and dedication of both the horses and their trainers.
