Standard and Poor’s Maintains China’s ‘A+’ Credit Rating with Stable Outlook

China: China's Ministry of Finance said that global credit rating agency Standard and Poor's (S and P) has maintained China's 'A+' sovereign credit rating with a stable outlook, reflecting the agency's assessment of the resilience and positive prospects of the Chinese economy.

According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement, the ministry said the report recognized China's ability to sustain resilient economic growth and manage debt effectively, noting that the rating reflects the agency's confidence in the country's positive economic outlook.

It added that key economic indicators for the first half of 2025 exceeded expectations, with the Chinese economy showing strong vitality and resilience in the face of a changing external environment, supported by the government's coordinated and proactive policies.
