London: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, along with Bahrain's delegation visited the Islamic Cultural Centre in London, as part of an official visit to the United Kingdom.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Ambassador of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, received the delegation. The Speaker was briefed on the Centre's efforts to promote interfaith dialogue, cultural understanding, and moderate Islamic values through educational and community programmes.
Al Musallam praised the Centre's role in fostering tolerance and coexistence, highlighting its importance in bridging cultural divides and supporting inclusive dialogue. The delegation also toured the Centre's library, one of the UK's leading resources on Islamic studies, and later visited the Wallace Collection Museum, which reflects both European heritage and the contributions of Arab culture to Britain's cultural landscape.
