Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, met with Sultan bin Ali Al Khater, Ambassador of Qatar to Bahrain. The meeting focused on discussing the strong historical ties that exist between Bahrain and Qatar.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Speaker highlighted the deep-rooted relations and strong cultural bonds that bind the two countries, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar. The dialogue aimed to explore avenues for strengthening parliamentary cooperation with the Qatari Shura Council, chaired by Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim.
In addition to parliamentary collaboration, the two sides deliberated on efforts to enhance coordination to benefit both nations and their peoples. Sultan bin Ali Al Khater, the Qatari Ambassador, emphasized the strong ties between Bahrain and Qatar, and praised Bahrain’s urban and economic development.
