Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, received in separate meetings Gines Jaime Ricardo Dacanay Gallaga, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Bahrain; Shazryll Zahiran, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Bahrain; and Choi Byung Sun, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the meetings, Al Musallam highlighted the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Philippines, Malaysia, and the Republic of Korea, noting continued cooperation across various sectors. He emphasized the significance of parliamentary diplomacy in bolstering bilateral partnerships and enhancing coordination and consultation at bilateral, regional, and international parliamentary levels.
The ambassadors commended the relations between their countries and the Kingdom of Bahrain and underscored their countries' interest in further strengthening cooperation across economic, cultural, and parliamentary fields. The meetings also reviewed a number of topics of common interest and explored means to enhance parliamentary cooperation and coordination.
