Speaker Meets Omani State Council Chairman to Enhance Bilateral Ties

Muscat: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, engaged in discussions with Sheikh AbdulMalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the Omani State Council. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the Council of Representatives' visit to the Sultanate of Oman, following an invitation from Shaikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Omani Shura Council.

According to Bahrain News Agency, both sides expressed pride in the historical ties between Bahrain and Oman, emphasizing their ongoing growth and the shared commitment to further strengthen these relations under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman.

The discussions also focused on enhancing cooperation between the two nations in various fields and advancing joint bilateral parliamentary actions that serve the interests of both countries and their citizens.

The meeting was attended by several members of the Omani State Council, along with Dr. Jumaa bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, and MPs Ahmed Sabah Al Saloom, Zainab Abdul Amir Khalil, Najeeb Hamad Al Kuwari, Mohammed Jassim Al Alaiwi, Jalal Kadhem Al Mahfoodh, Maryam Hassan Al Sayegh, and Ali Saqr Al Doseri.
