Tashkent: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives and Head of Bahrain's Parliamentary Delegation, engaged in discussions with Shaikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Mawali, Chairman of the Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman. This meeting occurred on the sidelines of the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Uzbekistan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Musallam emphasized the robust relations between Bahrain and Oman, which are supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. He highlighted the mutual parliamentary commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination at all levels to support shared development goals.
Shaikh Khalid bin Hilal expressed his appreciation for the strong ties between the two countries and their peoples. He emphasized the significance of enhancing parliamentary collaboration to strengthen bilateral relations and serve the interests of both nations.
