Speaker Marks RHF 25th Anniversary


Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, said that the approach to humanitarian work led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa represents a pillar of giving, development, and sustainability for society, and embodies Bahrain’s humanitarian message to the world.



According to Bahrain News Agency, marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) and the announcement of its 2026 initiatives, Al Musallam commended the patronage of His Majesty the King and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the foundation’s projects, initiatives, programmes, community service, and relief and humanitarian assistance efforts.



He expressed appreciation for the efforts of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the RHF, in advancing the humanitarian work system, which has positioned the foundation as a leading model for humanitarian action within the Kingdom and internationally, based on a sustainable developmental and humanitarian vision. He wished the foundation and its staff continued success.



Al Musallam highlighted the contributions of all partners and supporters of the foundation, including institutions, organisations, and individuals, for their role in advancing this Bahraini humanitarian institution, its social impact on the targeted groups, and its prominent humanitarian role internationally, noting their role in achieving the foundation’s goals, strengthening societal solidarity rooted in national constants, and consolidating Bahrain’s rich humanitarian legacy.
