Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the occasion of Bahrain Police Day, observed annually on December 14. Speaker Al Musallam commended the royal patronage of Bahrain’s security system, which has made Bahrain Police essential in maintaining security, stability, and comprehensive development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Speaker Al Musallam highlighted the police’s ongoing advancement, continuous modernisation, and achievements across all areas of security work, noting their efforts to enhance community partnership in preserving public order while performing their duties with dedication and professionalism. He expressed appreciation to General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, and all members of the Ministry of Interior for their commitment to their national mission, discipline, and responsible law enforcement, including the implementation of the Penal Code, alternative measures, the open prison programme, and other specialised initiatives that reflect ongoing attention to professional development under the rule of law.
The Speaker noted that Bahrain Police Day is a national occasion to recognise the ministry’s efforts in serving the nation and its citizens, and to honour the police officers who deserve full recognition for their dedication and service. He reiterated the legislative authority’s support for the ministry across all its sectors and future plans, to ensure the security of citizens and residents and safeguard national achievements, within the framework of Bahrain’s comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
