Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal has praised the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to boost cooperation between the legislative and executive branches and to promote national work in to serve the country and the citizens, highlight national achievements, support the economy, and develop the modern legislative system.
The Speaker affirmed the Council’s pride in the cooperation with the government under the distinguished leadership and the relentless follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
In a meeting with Parliament Affairs Minister Ghanem bin Fadhl Al Buainain, the Speaker hailed HRH’s keenness to strengthen constructive cooperation between the executive and legislative branches, support legislative performance, placing higher national interest above everything else and working together as part of “Team Bahrain”.
The meeting covered topics of shared interest and ways to consolidate parliament-government cooperation.
