Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, received a delegation from the French Senate led by Olivier Cadic, Member of the Senate representing French citizens living abroad and Chairman of the France-GCC Friendship Group. The meeting focused on reviewing the longstanding strategic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the French Republic, emphasizing their continued growth across various fields.
According to Bahrain News Agency, both sides highlighted their mutual commitment to further strengthen cooperation, particularly in the economic and investment sectors. The discussions underscored the importance of continuing joint coordination on issues of mutual interest, serving the shared aspirations and interests of both nations.
The meeting also included discussions on a number of regional and international developments, exploring ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation and coordination for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.
