Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, sent a cable of congratulations to Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on the 53rd anniversary of the council’s establishment.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Speaker commended the achievements of the FNC, highlighting the commitment to strengthening parliamentary cooperation between the Shura Council and the FNC to further bolster bilateral relations for the benefit of both nations and their peoples.
Al Musallam emphasised the historical ties between Bahrain and the UAE. He attributed this progress to the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
