Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, affirmed the legislative branch's keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation and joint coordination with the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), citing it as a strategic partner in parliamentary work.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Musallam commended the private sector's role in supporting the national economy and achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by the efforts and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Al Musallam congratulated Nabeel Khaled Kanoo on his election as Chairman of the Board of Directors, as well as the formation of the Chamber's Executive Committee. He wished the Chamber continued success in enhancing institutional efficiency, serving the private sector, meeting the aspirations of the business community, and supporting the Kingdom's efforts to increase economic growth and provide further high-quality job opportunities for citizens.
