Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, sent cables of congratulations to Om Birla, Speaker of the Lok Sabha, and C.P. Radhakrishnan, Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, on the Republic of India's Independence Day.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Speaker Al Musallam also sent a similar cable to Vinod Kurian Jacob, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
