Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, expressed his appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the continued support and guidance, which he noted has been instrumental in enabling the Council to carry out its constitutional and legislative responsibilities effectively, as the Council concluded the third session of the sixth legislative term.
According to Bahrain News Agency, he also commended the continuous support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in developing effective cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities, an approach that contributed significantly to the Council's legislative and developmental achievements during the session. These accomplishments were achieved through national visions and strategic plans, successfully implemented by "Team Bahrain."
The Speaker noted the legislative authority's commitment to continued service to the nation and its citizens, supporting the path of progress and development plans, and fulfilling its oversight and legislative responsibilities in pursuit of the desired national objectives within the framework of His Majesty's comprehensive development process.
He expressed the pride of all members of the legislative authority for the work of both councils during the past three sessions, emphasising their national commitment to redoubling efforts and achievements to meet the needs and aspirations of the Bahraini people, in line with the royal directives that have placed the citizen at the heart of sustainable development.
