Ras Hayan: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, visited the set of the popular competition programme "Al Sariya" at the Heritage Village in Ras Hayan. During the visit, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, was also present.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Speaker commended the programme for its valuable content aimed at showcasing the Kingdom of Bahrain's cultural heritage and civilisational achievements. He highlighted the support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, for initiatives that reinforce Bahrain's national identity and preserve its rich heritage for future generations.
The Speaker praised the programme for highlighting the cultural heritage of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and reflecting their deep-rooted ties. He acknowledged the efforts of the production team and organisers in delivering a high-quality production.
On his part, Dr. Al Noaimi emphasised the Ministry of Information's commitment to producing content that promotes Bahrain's authentic identity, preserves its cultural heritage, and strengthens cultural ties among GCC countries.
