Manama: In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Southern Municipality, along with civil society institutions, actively participated in the National Tree Week activities by planting trees.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this initiative is a part of Bahrain's national afforestation plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by the year 2035. This effort is a significant step towards the Kingdom's vision of achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
