Southern Governorate Processes Over 1,200 Requests and Inquiries by Mid-2025

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, has highlighted the Governorate's ongoing efforts to enhance communication, responsiveness, and community partnership. These efforts align with directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Governorate's mid-year report for 2025 revealed that it received approximately 1,209 inquiries and requests by the end of June. These requests spanned various sectors, including security, service, and social areas, as part of the region's digital transformation efforts.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali stated that the submissions were made through multiple channels such as phone calls, the Southern Governorate app, email, the national 'Tawasul' platform, and the Governorate Council.

The Governorate categorized the requests into 42% service-related, 37% social, and 21% security. A specialized team is tasked with processing and analyzing these requests before they are referred to the appropriate departments, ensuring proper follow-up through field monitoring.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali reaffirmed the Governorate's commitment to maintaining effective communication with residents and facilitating feedback through direct contact, digital platforms, and smart services. This initiative is in line with national efforts to improve service delivery and boost community engagement.
