Manama: His Highness the Southern Governor, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his directives, which helped ensure the successful marking of the Ashoora season in an atmosphere of security and safety.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali also thanked His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the government's support and its coordinated efforts to provide the necessary resources and facilities for the occasion.
HH the Southern Governor commended the national security and organisational efforts led by the Ministry of Interior, carried out in implementation of the instructions of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister, stressing that the arrangements helped ensure that Ashoora was observed in peace and with social stability.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali praised the role of ministries, institutions, and relevant authorities in the season's success, highlighting the cooperation between the heads and organisers of mourning processions and the Governorate, security, and service entities, as well as adherence to regulatory procedures.
