Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa received Dr Tasneem Atatreh, representative of the World Health Organization, in the presence of Dr Wafa Al-Sharti, Director of the Health Promotion Directorrate at the Ministry of Health, and a number of officials from the governorate and the Ministry of Health.
The Governor welcomed the participants at the beginning of the meeting. He stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination between the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health.
He received a letter of cooperation from the World Health Organization for the governorate's health initiatives efforts.
