Seoul: South Korea and the United States have concluded their major joint drills, Ulchi Freedom Shield (UFS), aimed at strengthening their combined readiness posture.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the UFS exercise included a four-day civil defense exercise on the Korean side and lasted for 11 days, amidst North Korea's evolving nuclear missile threats. The South Korea-U.S. Combined Forces Command announced that the exercises reinforced the Alliance's defensive posture, enhanced combined readiness, and demonstrated their ability to deter aggression and, if necessary, defend both nations.
