South Korea and US Forge 11 MoUs for Joint Ventures in Key Sectors

Washington: South Korea and the United States have signed 11 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation across several critical industrial sectors, including shipbuilding, nuclear energy, and aviation. The agreements also extend to liquefied natural gas (LNG) and critical minerals.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the MOUs were finalized during a South Korea-US business roundtable held in Washington. This event followed the first summit between His Excellency Lee Jae Myung, President of the Republic of Korea, and President Donald Trump of the United States.

Kim Jung-kwan, the Minister of Industry of South Korea, highlighted that the Korean government is committed to providing all necessary institutional support to promote Korea-US manufacturing cooperation. He stated that efforts will be made to generate significant business opportunities for companies from both nations.
